Sundown Outfitters and Rio Grande Outfitters operate year-round in the rugged backcountry of southwest Colorado, offering guided hunts across the San Juan, Rio Grande, and Weminuche National Forests, as well as the South San Juan and La Garita Wilderness areas. They specialize in big game hunts for elk, mule deer, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain lion, and bear, along with spring turkey hunts and winter lion hunts. Hunters can choose from full-service wilderness hunts, quality drop camps, and day hunts on both public and private land, with 1×1 and 2×1 guided options available in select units.
