Alaska Elite Outfitters offers fully guided and self-guided moose and brown bear hunting trips in Unit 17 of southwestern Alaska near the Bristol Bay area. Founded by experienced guide Mike Vanstrom, the outfitter specializes in trophy-size brown bear, moose, and king salmon adventures across diverse terrain including lakes, rivers, and wilderness mountains. Clients fly into Anchorage, then Dillingham, and float plane to camps on the Nushagak River with excellent facilities and transportation between fishing and hunting camps.
